I don't know what the hell is going on with Anvil Range. Clearly, zinc price is above breakeven point and weak Canadian dollar makes it even more favourable for Anvil. I was obvious that Anvil operates on the edge, but still profitable. I was monitoring closely movement in zinc prices and was ready to act accordingly once prices move in either direction.

What happened? Management drained down all the cash and filed for court protection. How, Why? Where are shareholders money? Certainly, management should more clearly state all financial aspects of any activity undertaken and make it fare for everyone.

Let see what happens now

Might be a good gamble, given that there will be some rumors about:

"The Vancouver Sun reports in a Canadian Press dispatch in its Thursday edition that there is a slim chance that workers at the Faro mine could stay on the job past the February 18 shutdown, according to the head of Anvil Range Mining. Patrick Mars, the company's president and chief executive, says what is required is a new source of money to keep the company afloat."
