Just checked PRNewswire web-site:

prnewswire.com

Story doesn't exist. Type "raid" or "emc" or "mtic" or "clariion" in the search box and the only story to come up is the Coopers & Lybrand story of the 14th.

Why does AOL have a seperate MotelyFool site?

Greg

Interesting. It isn't like a CPA firm to let material or a press release out of the door without dotting the "i" and crossing the "t". This is especially true for a Big Six (or five now) firm. I'll really raise my eyebrow if the participant who gets some information changed is a C&L client. Jim posted earlier that KMPG Peat Marwick is MTIC's accountants. Keep us posted if anything else shows up on this at AOL. Thanks.

The language of the posted "story" does not appear to me to be a genuine press release by C & L. It just does not ring true. That's only my opinion.
