Lucky: Very Good Reason NANX did not bounce. The price before the drop was $11.62 a share. The day the company had bad earnings News, the stock OPENED at $6.00 a share. At $6.00 it was hardly worth short selling as most brokerages will want you to put up the $5 and will only margin the $1.00. There was no chance to Short Sell the stock after the news came out!
NANX had Bad News. Long Term bad news.

HCOM had No News to account for its drop.
HCOM opened Friday at $13.18 and started dropping from there. Within a very short time it was down to apx.$9.25, a range it stayed in for several hours friday. That large of a drop got it on the LARGEST PERCENTAGE DOWN LISTS which alerted investors of a potiential Short Sell. Like I said, the price stayed in the $9.25 to $8.75 range for many hours. Plenty of time for the short sellers to decide to jump on it or not. Apx. 1:30 PM EST Friday the stock started rapidly dropping in price from the $8.75 range to end the day at $7.68 after getting as low as $7.00.
I suspect there was some short covering in the final hour as well as some bottem fishing. The last 10 mins the stock moved up from apx.$7.25 to the close at $7.68 on apx. 29,000 shares of buying.

Yep, I was watching it and I have the trading log from after the close.

In short, NANX did not have time to be short sold. HCOM had 3/4 of the day Friday to be short sold. NANX had Bad Earnings News. HCOM had NO NEWS and the company did not understand the why it was dropping either.
I think HCOM started dropping at the open for some yet unknown reason, and the short sellers saw the big drop and pilled on thus increasing the drop. IMO
Could be wrong, but this is what makes sence to me.
Short Sellers will need to cover their position and thus become Buyers and raise the price back up. If the company makes a statement, this will only accelerate the Short covering ( buying ) and the Bottom fishing buying.

I plan to be at the ticket window at the open, watching, Waiting and ready.
