I appreciate your perspective - the reason I am attaching a specific political actor to the market action is that the political actor referred to is in the position of making unilateral policy decisions that have real world and market consequences.

The uptrend in the INDU, SPX... has been both claimed by and attributed to that actor - well, if that actor is responsible for the rise he is also responsible for the crash currently underway.

The whole purpose of government fiscal, structural, and monetary policy is to influence / control both social and economic collective action including the stock markets.

If this is winning policy decision making reflecting a successful elected representative - then what will losing look like?
