The position "sputtering" of the magnetic north pole is continuing. Brief readings of 12.99 continue, returning to 12.59 each time so far. (seen in blue horizontal line that annoyingly "hides" behind the hour/day zig-zag.) There looks to be at least 8 occasions of "sputter". Brief acceleration each time returning to the speed corresponding to 12.59 readings is my interpretation of it.

24 days of readings 12/17/18 to 12/10/19

Current small sample of data table (last 24 days):

Previous month's small sample of data table (starting 11/17/18)

There are 3 readings taken that show 12.99. That may be the quantum jump in speed starting to show up in the readings or it may be a magnetic jerk. It may be that accelerations are accompanied by a jerk.In any case that 1/2 degree represents between 34 and 35 miles. So we wait for 3 more weeks.

Remember...you heard it here first.

The term "magnetic jerk" is starting to become a part of the general dialogue about the movement of the magnetic poles. Part of the new script.
