Well, here is a possiblility to ponder. As we know, Heaven seemsto be place of reward, with birds of a feather flocking together.

Think you'll probably find me in Alan and Nancy's crowd. You can have Jim and Tammy and Jimmy and the rest. All good sound doctrine brethren, all, but He will judge them all according to the real heart only He sees. Fair enough?

I base this on the only thing that got me out of my backsliding, thinking of lurking around Heaven while everyone knew that I was the one He let in after all... and thinking of what I missing thereby. After much thinking it over, it is rather simplistic to understand, and much more reasonable than St. Francis having done it all for nothing when he could have just boozed and partied and done it all until a death bed prayer. It seems right and just and fair and still in keeping with scrptures and the fact that we are made in God's image, and He must at least have as much power of reason as we do. Not less.
And Jesus, who was sweetly human to the utter maximum, kept saying you askme who is the Father? I'm just like Him.

And all those brethren we know of but who do not yet know, who I might not feel as comfortable with otherwise. And of course all of this is worth considering based on the writings of Jesus, John and Paul. They warned us beforehand.

Just a thought.

Enough said by me also. Peace be unto you in the name of Jesus
Christ.

Chris;

"There is a vast difference between someone who repents and someone who tries promulgating false doctrine. Enough said. --Chris"

Tell me how I must repent? I am Jewish and I have accepted Jesus as my personal Savior, I have asked for forgiveness of sin. I enjoy reading the Old Testament as well as the New since both books are God's word. Tell me Chris what false doctrine is that, you have never answered any of my questions if you wish to accuse me of something you as a believer in Christ must give me an answer. I enjoy my Jewish holidays (as depicted in the Bible) and continue to celebrate them as well as some Christian holidays. Also I lay no Judgement on any man including yourself it is enough for me to worry about my own salvation. Again you accused me of false doctrine, please show me why I can't stay Jewish and accept the fullness of what Jesus has to offer.

You have plenty of my post's to refer to tell me Chris what false doctrine are you talking about, you have accused a fellow believer in Christ you must give me an answer.

I was going to refrain from posting here but you accused me and my wife of a terrible sin (false doctrine) tell me what is false about my beliefs.

Alan

I'm sorry that I proved myself a prevaricator, but I do direct the questions I directed to Alan to you directly. I believe it is time to lay individual cards on the table and keep Emile out of this. Unless you were recruited by him to jump in and back him up with a new mouth.

To all Christians who love Jesus and His Body, the Christian Church, here is an URL that captures the essence of our Chritian heritage. It is difficult to understand how anyone who calls themselves a believer in Jesus could condemn this body of Holy writings that was written by the children of God. The hatred and teachings of anti-Cahtolic fanatics have put a cloud over these Holy writings and deprived many honest Christians of their wisdom and edification. This thread contains both our Catholic and our Protestant Chritian heritage.

Chris;

I am still waiting; One thing that bother's me most about you is that you avoid my questions. So how am I suppose to understand you better. You are hurling stones at me saying that I have been "promulgating false doctrine" if you are any type of believer in Christ you should backup what you said about me and my wife. On this post you were suggesting that I was suggesting a Jew was better than everyone else.

Message 3042395

Is it because they (Jews) were better than any other people?

I have never claimed the Jews were better than Gentiles, I have stated on many occasions that I felt sincere Christians (Gentiles) were the most blessed in God's eye. Show me were I stated otherwise. I have even called Jews (non believing) stubborn and lacking the fullness of Jesus.

Just avoiding me since you felt a need to hurl something my way proves to me that you are liar, I am not saying you are but if you refuse to give me a reason for you accusation than you simply are a liar.

Alan
