Still downloading NT 4.0 options pack.
Part 34 of 52. 38mb. 40mb more to go.

Microsoft's contract download service is quite good.
I'm using the Chicago site. Says it has 10,000 user
capacity. Washington and California both have 15,000.
Speed has been good. 2.9k bytes/sec on a 28.8 connection.

I hit cancel near the end of a 6mb section and when I
went back in it only downloaded the remaining 1mb.
I'll see if it works when I do the install. Probably
will.

Good night

Harvey

<I can see no way that Microsoft can honestly tell its
customers that the products that they offer will be
eventually found legal in the courts. There is no way
a corporation will deploy the Operating System with the
clouds hanging over it. It's just too expensive.>

I do feel that the "higher" courts will allow MSFT to distribute Win 95 as an unbundled alternative to Win 98. After all, it is the DOJ's contention that MSFT is forcing a bundled product on the market. If given a choice (as has been done), the DOJ's argument is undone, since the market will be more than able to make its decision as to whether it prefers a bundled product as compared to a stipped down one.
