Hi Bill,
My charts are very confused but the dow looks weak, the S&P stronger and the Naz looks like it may go up for a day or two. Not that I try to forecast markets, only individual stocks. But what about that abillity of the 50 dma to repell the dow? I thought the last 25 minutes on Friday were very interesting.

Bill,
I take it you are using a daily??You mentioned 4/8/97...Well it doesn't look as oversold here as then and we didn't have all the negative international events either. This is another dumb one..but were you looking at the reverse h&s and the vgy is about to break the necklline? Then that would put on pressure downwards? Or am I missing the read on the chart?I have stated my concerns too about the A/D as well as daily highs and lows. These choppy charts are getting harder for me to interpret...But I would like to see another run up before I commit to any puts.IMHO,investor complacency is even stronger today than "buy the dip" attitude. That's pretty scary to me!
More insight please!
Regards,
Barbara
