Thomas, actually the credit goes to Barry Grossman of the Intel thread,I merely copied it here in case you guys haven't seen the interview,or read the post on Intel thread. So my contribution in this regard is rather miniscule, thanks all the same for the kind words, though I do not deserve the credit.

Re: SR

The SR (speech recognition) systems are still crap but show promise. One more generation of enhancement, the next generation of more powerful CPUs and incorporation of context processing should result in broadly useful SR technology.

I've tried IBM, Dragon, and Kurzweil (now part of Lernaut&Hauspie) packages.

Thomas; The IBM speach typing sucks bad !!! :-(
I took it back to the store
screaming rip-off. The time it took to install
it I should get paid for ! in fact getting it uninstalled
ticked me off even more. It hid some system files, that wanted to
load after I uninstalled it and I had to track them down.
What a sham, I now hate IBM more than ever.
