Worswick: Thanks you so much for the post of the French involvement in Rwanda. I am sure CIA also did something of similar nature but the US public might never know. Yes, colonialism is not dead yet.
Best luck

Worsick, thank you for bringing this tragedy and traversy to light. The condition that even allows the tought that ''In countries like that, a genocide is not very important.'', rooted in the dehumanization of a part of humanity. The acceptance of the notion that any part of the human race could be "sub-par" or whatever the term might be, is the first step in promulgationg acceptance of genocide and other man vs man horrors, all you need do is read this teaching in "Mein Kampf". That is why consiencious people, wherever they are should not acquiesce with even the slightest bigotry or any theory of superior races, these are always the first steps down the slippery road to genocide.

During these challenging times in Asia, the frustation of the populations could be easily diverted by unscrupulous politicians (like Mitterand apparently was) against minorities within each countries with catastrophic effects. Let us hope there are some Zola's and St Exup‚ry out there to let us know of such happenings before the politicians stain for generation the consciences of their own nations.

Thank you again for letting us know.
