Ian, Let's look at the FUNDAMENTALS! What FUNDAMENTALS do Intel have? Claimed the manufacturing refinements in achieving higher clock speed as their technology achievements? Needs HP to design their next processors? Strong Intel supporters have to be liars, shameless, insane or false believers? If you don't understand what I talk about, visit AMD's two threads. Intel's major OEMs felt free to adopt AMD and Cyrix processors without the fear of Intel revenge like it used to be? Intel is betting on people trusts on processor clock speed. What's happened if end users find the 128-bit Cyrix MXi is significantly faster than any Intel processors of whatever clock speeds? Intel is walking on thin ice.
