Not sure exactly what you mean by finding it difficult to track the last trade on the most current bar.

Of course, the last bar is going to jump all over the place if the sdtock is trading in a narrow range. That's the nature of the beast, and the reason why I don't use bar charts at all to track short-term trading activity. You should be using a tick or time and sales chart to do that.

Of course, there are TA techniques that are only going to work on a bar chart, and when you use these, you simply should not trust the last bar.
