This dangerous backing into the Palm pilot market will impinge 3Com, next we will
see internet switches and routers and modems made by MSFT, unless they are not
told to stand away.

I don't see why MSFT should not be allowed to enter new markets. This is good for the consumer. But they should be required to compete with the other vendors on a level playing field, without resorting to leveraging their OS monopoly.
