If Vogt's "micronova" timing is correct, the micronova would happen between one and two decades after the pole shift.
Another "gut" response to this is that is smacks of the "tail wagging the dog".. I fail to see how such a relatively insignificant event occurring on the Earth as a magnetic flip, impacting the Sun to Micro-Nova..

The Earth is tiny relative to the Sun.. I can certainly see the inverse of the Sun causing something on the Earth, but not the other way around.
Btw, I also note that Vogt seems to believe that at the heart of both the Sun and Earth, it's formed out of plasma. He also mentioned that the Earth's alleged Iron core would lose it's magnetic field due to high temperatures present.. But I haven't verified that assertion.

But, if true, it is seemingly powerful evidence for the Plasma hypothesis, especially as it's been proven that Plasma can repel shock waves in a manner that mimics solid matter.
