Hi Teddy Bear (I mean bull) This is the most mature post I've read today. My husband (the judge) would be very proud to have you as a son. (Want to be adopted?) Seriously, you reflect my thoughts 100%. Nothing has changed in IOM's makeup except the split. It's the same co. making the same products, with the same CEO and the same R&D. So there's no excitement recently. Those who want a "thrill" should go to Las Vegas and play the crap tables. SR

This thought just popped into my mind........ok no jokes<ggg>.

Last April, IOM's board increased the number of Authorized Shares to 400 million. After the split ther are what?...270 million "Issued Shares" outstanding, with almost 130 Million! Shares authorized but not yet issued......why?

Please!........ not a 3 for 2 split after we hit $ 18.<ggg>

Still though, why the extra shares.....to buy something or to keep from being bought?

Any thoughts?

Frank

Ok another thought just popped in.........<gg>

I was at my local CompUSA in Garden City NY yesterday and saw a new arrival of SparQs and SyJet 1.5 gig Drives.....the Sparqs were going for $199.....right alongside
the Zip+s which is 100megabyte, 1/10 of 1 gig...for the same price. Well, I thought, this has to impact Zip sales somewhat. I pondered that I could probably back up all my "stuff" onto one disk. But then I said....." well great, but, what if I lose the frigging thing....then I'm really screwed!!!"

So 1 gig really kind of seems to me as over kill for this segment of the market.

It belongs alongside the Jaz Drives....so I tried to find where the Jaz were stocked and the I remembered.....they keep the good stuff behind the counter<ggg>.

Sparq will die Q3 of 98 IMHO...as Jaz and Zip pricing come down.
