I hadn't seen that ibuprofen article - very interesting, and seems well done.

Basically this article is claiming that ibuprofen acts to suppress androgen production, leading to a compensating rise in luteinizing hormone (LH) to maintain androgen levels. Thus you end up with normal androgen (like testosterone) levels, albeit with the accelerator pressed down. Some hints that might increase cardiac events in the long term, and might also have some adverse effects on mood.

Unclear whether this applies other NSAIDs as well - it is certainly possible.

Bottom line is to try to avoid chronic high doses of ibuprofen - your stomach will thank you anyhow, even if the claims in this article don't pan out.
