Thanks. Much appreciate links which I read with interest. Noted on first one at top an ad for "Commodities - the way to go" Yuk. But substance solid. Most interesting for an outfit in the business of giving advice. Clear warnings and common sense. IMO. The Fortune article fascinating. Good guys and BAD for sure. Only the good guy not making millions for himself (and ignored by the "market"). Food for thought. To try to be clear. The purpose of my post was not to "bash" anyone - analysts included. The purpose was to try to be realistic. Nada mas. Bottom line to me is to handle your investments so these guys don't hurt you. If you buy good stocks based on your own careful research, do your own analysis, follow a few carefully so you know if there are any major changes in fundamentals, etc. and hold for long term who cares how these hired guns "move the market" ? Just IMO but have tried many different ways to make some real money and buying the best I can find and hold until fundamentals turn against the company seems like best I have found. But that is me. You are you. You decide. Wish you well. Usual IMO's and disclaimers. PS As an example, Sun has been a winner for me over the years and I am with them for years to come unless major change in fundamentals. Chaz
