He’s also a habitual liar, so it’s no surprise that when he made such an announcement this morning, he wasn’t actually in the Oval Office. Here’s the tweet, posted at 10:37am eastern time today, that got Donald Trump busted: “I’m in the Oval Office. Democrats, come back from vacation now and give us the votes necessary for Border Security, including the Wall. You voted yes in 2006 and 2013. One more yes, but with me in office, I’ll get it built, and Fast!” Trump’s trouble is that he still doesn’t seem to understand, or care to learn, how anything works. For instance, a Marine guard is always visibly standing watch in the lobby of the West Wing when the president is in the Oval Office. But according to the White House pool report, there was no guard present at the time of Trump’s tweet, meaning he wasn’t in the Oval Office when he posted the tweet. Why would Donald Trump bother lying about such a thing? If he wanted to make a point about being in the Oval Office, why wouldn’t he have simply waited until his lazy self finally got to the Oval Office? These questions all tend to come back to the same answer: Trump is a clueless liar, and he’s also stupid. Here’s the real question: if he’s trying to trick us into believing he’s in the Oval Office when he isn’t, then where the heck is he? Where was he? On his tweeting throne:

Walter Jones (R-N.C.) said that President Trump should considering tapping into his personal funds to help pay for a wall along the southern border. “If Mexico isn’t going to be made to pay for a wall, that means funds must be found internally,” Walter said in a statement Friday. “As a wealthy man, the president might consider pledging some of his own funds as well.
