I voted for Bush Jr. in his first term, but I voted for Kerry against Bush in his second term and then for Obama in his first term. I'm registered Unaffiliated and vote both sides of the aisle, whenever I think I find someone who is trying to do the right thing and seems to have a brain. Obama and his Congress spending $9 trillion on deficits didn't save anyone. In fact, the reality is that it enriched an already rich top 1%, some of whom were the very ones who created the financial crisis in the first place. For the rest, the 99%, they got screwed. First Bush, then Obama did exactly the wrong things. They recapitalized the TBTF banks and protected the rich and wealthy. Neither of them really gave two shits for the 99%. If they did, then they would have let capitalism wipe out the shareholders and bad actors at the TBTF banks and they would have indicted and put in jail the criminal banksters. Instead, they chose socialism for the top 1% and screwed the 99%. And here we are. Obama is and was no savior.
