When we are being accurate, I blame Congress. They hold the purse strings, after all. I also blame the Federal Reserve for being the heroin pusher, through their QE and endlessly low interest rates. That's where the real blame lies. However, when you guys get stupid and start blaming the President's, ignoring how our government actually works, then typically I'll respond in kind. You blame Trump for big deficits, so I turn around and show you the hypocrisy of that discussion, by reminding you that Obama effectively ran trillion dollar deficits his entire 8 years in office, as demonstrated by the increase in debt by $9.3 trillion. So if you want to have a factual conversation, let's start there and then we can talk about what a shitty Congress we have. Keep talking about Trump's deficits and I'll keep talking about Obama's. Your choice.
