You know Sam, all my life Jews seemed to come to my rescue? When I was a little kid my friend David Leibeskind was my protector. Tough kid who went on to become a surgeon I think. We skiped third grade together. In college I worked for my buddy Jeff Bloomenfelds clothing store and he was a football star and watched out for me in a tough town and was in my fraternity and we dated girls together. And in graduate school, I lived platonically with a Jewish girl and ran with the Jews at U of Washington. So they hold a special place in my heart.
