Yes, I have raised my concerns with CV. His basic comeback: “It is what it is. We are tied into a contract which we can’t get out of.” As for your confusion about the Palisade deal ... Only NPK could end this confusion by making all the details public (ongoing PR fees as well as all Palisade trading pre and post PP) which they either can’t because of a NDA or simply won’t for other reasons. As for Palisade losing money ... If you look at the SP and volume pre and post PP, Palisade very likely did very well. My guess: They caused the mid 2017 peak, shorted into it and covered with the PP shares. Since then they get the benefit of the PR deal with the unknown terms.
