Hi, Paul-- The TA-Cdn market thread has pretty well been abandoned-- last post was in October. Finding reliable, inexpensive eod data for Cdn stocks is a real problem. Fortunately, most of the ones in which I am interested also trade on one of the main US exchanges. If stocks do not have large volume, many of the TA indicators may be unreliable. It takes a big herd to have herd psychology work, and small cap Cdn stocks often do not have that required volume. doug

Well, I'm pleased to say that Metastock has finally arrived. I must say I'm a little disheartened by my first experience with the Expert Advisor. "You've got to be kidding," the advisor said in the Expert Commentary. "You're not seriously proposing to buy this stock, are you -- or worse, you don't actually own this dog, do you?" The expert went on to opine, "You're wasting my time with stocks like this. Can't you just look at the chart? Even a newbie could see extraordinary price action to the downside. Do you really need me to tell you that? You *are* going to sell immediately, aren't you? Can I go now? Hit Close." I tried another Expert, and the commentary said, "Didn't Tushar Chande just tell you this stock was a loser? Hit Close, and close the door behind you." Sheesh. It's a tough program. Brooke
