Humble request, All, I'm on the market for a used Powerbook, and would very much welcome any and all suggestions as to where to look for one on the net.

In order not to clutter this thread, can you please e-mail me at JSvejk@aol.com if you have a link that may help me?

Thanks in advance,

Svejk

AAPL's recent upgrade by the First Bank of Alomex

:-) :-)

Seriously. If Alomex has been generally right about AAPL's trend and representative of the overall market sentiment, then his new position signals that some other doubters are willing to take a second look.

At long last Apple has taken decisive corrective actions to its problems, which was nicely reflected in the announced profits. A couple of more quarters in this sharp trim and focus mode and they could be off the respirator for good.

On a different note, I was under the impression that Gil Amelio had promised Rhapsody for the January 1998, and now Apple is talking about "first half 1998", what gives?
