Miraje,
He ran some pretty dirty, mean and nasty attack ads against fellow Republicans through the 2012 primaries and caucuses.
Got an example? I sure don't remember him playing dirty against fellow Republicans.

Romney rose to the top in 2012 because of his record of accomplishment and because he was the best representative of mainstream conservatism. Unfortunately his campaign crumbled thanks in part to the media who pretty much attacked him while protecting their Dear Leader, the Nobel Peace Prize laureate, and he had too much class to fight back.

I get why Republicans these days have resorted to "No more Mr. Nice Guy," but that's only going to justify everything that liberals have done over the past decade and more. And if you haven't noticed, liberals still have the power despite the Republicans holding 2.5 branches of the federal government. This country is headed toward socialism at an alarming rate, and Trump is giving the left all the weapons they need.

Stooping to their level, IMO, is ultimately a losing strategy. Romney won't do that, and I applaud him for it, even though he'll be attacked on both sides.
