"For every seller there is a buyer" This statement is not correct.
For every seller there maybe 10 buyers.


So how does the seller decide who gets the security? He elevates the price of the security until one of the buyers meets his price and the others decide it's too expensive.

C'mon, ed. Go get your Economics books off the shelf. This is high-school stuff. One security; one buyer; one seller; one price.
