The wall is not predominantly about stopping smuggling. But of course it will help. How El Chapo did it has nothing to do with the fact that we know now that drugs are smuggled daily by people carrying the shit across the border while coming into the country illegally. If it is 30%, that's 30%. The wall is to stop HUMANs from coming into the country illegally who are going to cost us billions of dollars over a period of time in health care, education, food, and jobs. You really don't even need to be that smart to understand this.
