I don't know what MD's capabilities are for sure. Until "we" see their product we don't know what they've got. All I'm saying is that people with successful track records in business have tied their names and reputations to this company/product and I want to see what attracted them for myself. My statement about Z/MD misreading the market pertained to their dismissing windowing as something the market wouldn't want. It was only meant as an example of one of their several mistakes. As far as contracts signed, it's my understanding that all the contracts signed to date are less than $5Bil. If you believe the estimates then things haven't even started to get serious i.e. contracts. Reading the names of the majority of VAR's listed by Zitel/MD it appears that the business they're really after is Federal/State government work. Makes sense to me since they're going to spend the most. If I remember correctly Northrup is listed as a "preferred" vendor to the Federal Government. OAO and FDC are right up there too. These companies had to be shown "something" besides a good time to agree to become VAR's. Do you think Northrup would risk their reputation and relationship with the Army if MD or it's product would embarass them? Granted it's not a big contract but my point is Northrup "gave them the chance". And IMO it's only a test. The Army's GOT to have more than 1.3 million lines of code to deal with. So like I said before I'm gonna wait and see. Incidentally, where did you get those extra 2 aces? I thought you had 2 not 4 :)) Have a good one Deep Digm
