Anyway, my desperation led me to sign on to AOL, where some clown on The Motley Fool (they're all clowns over there) has pointed out that ASND changed its earnings announcement date to one apparently corresponding with LU's date. He further concludes that the reason was to bundle LU/ASND's earnings announcements and the announcement of a LU/ASND merger into one big happy love fest. Sowbug, Interesting thought. I consider it unlikely and earnings would likely get lost in the shuffle. I do not know, however. Glenn

Hello, Mike. I guess it depends on whether you have ever been abducted by aliens, eh? My buddy told me some time back that LU really was talkin' to ASND, but I'm stickin' with that "can't do a deal for 2 years after you get spun off" scenario. Sorry about your ISP, but to tell the truth, there are worse places to be on a Saturday afternoon than Santa Monica. Has Arnold bought the entire downtown yet? P.S. It will be simple to tell if the fool is a moron or a genius in a couple of days. I'm votin' same as you. pete
