Jim Rogers didn't do much for SSG. He recommended so many stocks in Barrons that perhaps he diluted the effect of his recommendation. SSG did, however, close at 40.5 today versus 38 or something last week. TTF did even better the past couple days (unfortunately).

I don't quite follow your calculations. In my last post I went through some calculations of the potential profit with a long TTF, short SSG position. The way to check your result is to focus on the cash flows by looking at $ raised from the short sale and $ required to buy back, $ to buy the hedge, then sell. Then you can compute a rate of return.
