jim-- i dont think you are mistaken about them wanting into the market, but i do think what they are aiming for is the brain of the STB. recently we picked up some TI. i hadnt held it in a while, but the prospects for the company are excellent. i can easily see TI taking intels spot in the next few years. i know that may be jumping the gun a bit....but it could happen, especially if AMD and Cyrix get their collective heads out of their ass and start executing better. good luck to all, trey
