Kirk:
I saw that AOL post and I agree with your response to it. Looking back on a graph of UTEK's history, it's clear this is a very volitile stock. Bob keeps reiterating that revenues from UTEK's new division is a 1999 -2000 story that investors will probably start to reflect in UTEK's stock price sometime in 1998 (probably the second half). Perhaps the gentleman would sell me some of his UTEK shares for $17 if we get another test of the bottom during the latter half of January,

RE: The AOL post that thrashed BB on UTEK recommendation. Thanks for the interesting and hard-hitting post. I own many shares of UTEK, at a basis of 25 and change, and have no interest in selling the shares at this point. While the writer of that post cited many points with accuracy, there is one point he left out. In my recollection, in at least two of BB's newsletter discussions on UTEK, BB clearly stated that a UTEK investment was "aggressive" and only for "high risk" investors, or words to that effect. This, IMO is an important point. While I've been disappointed and frustrated at UTEK's performance, I accept that it was an aggressive move, and am willing to wait for the payout. This is the whole point of diversification, no?
