Have you ever noticed when "taxing the rich" comes up, it's always about the worker and his income taxes, and "the rich" are never touched? If you want the rich to fund your social programs, then you should be advocating a "wealth tax". But then that would be taking money way from the people that own the politicians wouldn't it?
