I avoided watching ShepSmith at all, but to your point, Greenspirit's post on Lindy Bill's thread describes what he did very well: Sheppard Smith should be fired. He attempted to correct the President and editorialize in support of illegal migration by using the same tired liberal line "illegal immigrants commit less crime by percentage than legal Americans". First of all, the President never made a statement about percentage of illegals committing crime, I also wonder what that talking point is based on? Probably some liberal study with manipulated statistics. Second, is it the job of Sheppard Smith to editorialize when the President of the United States gives an address to the nation? Or is he the news reader? Third, his statements on Fox news criticizing the President before Democrats gave their rebuttal, demonstrated gross bias, greater than CBS or NBC - despicable.
