Right, the invasion of the barbarians, that too, but Rome itself was falling apart, it lacked law and order because the people had become so self indulgent that the barbarian invasion was not taken seriously... What we see today is nearly a perfect carbon copy... All advanced civilizations collapse due to very similar circumstances...
