Sadly there’s no escape. I lived on the north shore of Kauai for 14 years and being isolated only lasts so long before reality kicks you hard. CO2 isn’t the problem imo... it’s crooks and liars who claim change and fake stats as their religion. My experience is confront them with facts and, when the inevitable denial comes, ignore them and move on. How are those polar bear, honey bee & hockey stick scams coming along....
