The Kurds were hung out to dry and much bloodshed in the early 90's when President George HW Bush abandoned them too after asking them to raise up and overthrow Saddam Hussein.

am on the same same page and cannot see glimmer of hope for the Kurd civilians, and less for the rebellion

am dubious re how much staying power team use has remaining for adventure in the desert, and as the original objectives were either unclear or known-but-kept-mum, the end-game can be anything

now perhaps we might better guess why there was a coup attempt against Erdogan, saved by the Russians and blamed on the USA
