You don't hold DELL.
You do hold CPQ.

So why are you posting FUD on this thread? And re
CPQ may buy DEC/SUNW/ASND in 98, my guess !!!
What year do you expect DELL to buy CPQ? <ggg>

Cpq vs. Dell

If you looked at the track record of both cpq & dell then you would see that panic is less likely to happen with cpq than dell. Dell keeps its house more in order and never dissipoints with earnings..Dell has dropped prices since it benefits from the Asian crisis and construction for more manf space is under way as we speak. Asnd is not for sell and why would sunw sell with great earnings..Dec -so what
Dell has the time to keep its house in order and focus on making money. Look at cpq's stock behavior over the last few months compared to Dell. Dell will focus on whats in front of them and wait for the right time to make its moves. You guys are a trip when you come on the thread and just say anything. I guess your frustrated with cpq as I am and dont know what to do.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, yep sell dell at 107 and get out, this thing always runs up before earnings and then drop little after. industry is getting too competitive, compaq and HWP are heavy weights, and dell is not.
