Whoa John! The palaces represent a tricky dilemma, IMO. Keep in mind that Baghdad is located on the site of the biblical city of Babylon. In fact, I believe that King Nebuchadnezzar's famed Hanging Gardens which he built for his wife are still there, and are one of the "seven wonders of the world". It would be a huge mistake for the US to act like a bull in a china shop amongst these priceless historical sites.
