LOL. Have you ever wondered why it is that in the US, all of our leaders are septuagenarians or octogenarians? The old are eating the young. All the wealth and resources of this country are being gobbled up through social security, medicare, and welfare by the old. Also, the old create, enable, and direct the global wars and the young fight them, coming home disabled physically and mentally, and forever more dependent on the government. If you ever wanted a leading indicator to the decline of a nation, the old eating the young is a pretty reliable one. Think about Japan. When the old no longer care about leaving a better world behind for the young, then that race, group, tribe, or country is fast approaching extinction. The Baby Boomers will go down in history as the most selfish, incompetent, greedy, and rapine of all generations, once the full effects of the decline of the US are realized and written about by historians. The inflection point came when the Baby Boomers came to power. Should have known the Woodstock generation would have had a scorched earth policy on our country. As a Gen Xer, I think old vs. young is a far more accurate descriptor of the ongoing civil war, rather than left vs. right. My generation may very well be the last that knew the US at the height of its power, greatness, and capacity for global good. All of that is over now.

The doc who injected all that venom into her once gorgeous face was a colleague of mine many moons past. I kid you not.
I got lots of stories about Nancy from waaaaay back when I lived a block from her. Oh my.
