Guns, Germs and Steel etc.,and these are only some of the nontech stuff. I have other things I have to do. It gets hard to find the time to just get through the day, let alone keeping up.

I want to have a lifetime of just reading, sitting, walking, writing. Maybe in my next life. With my luck the Gods will probably interpret this wrongly and make me a court stenographer in my next life. :)

This is interesting.

The world has quietly stuffed cotton in the mouth of Science, while dancing with Technology. It's a long-term love affair. The old tough wife is being disregarded. :) There are long term ramifications which, I think, will not be good. But I'm not smart enough to calculate the impact.
