OK, have found one of MY problems. If I open a new window in MS, as RICHARD stated he did, and drop the OBV indicator in that window then pull down the MA indicator in that same window and make the OBV indicator turn MAGENTA the cross overs remain stable irregardless of the ZOOM settings. If I then bring another MA indicator into the same window and just drop it, WITHOUT letting the OBV indicator turn MAGENTA, the crossover of the OBV on this new MA will change depending on the Zoom setting. Soooo, which one do I use??? Guess, this is the problem when you do not realize what you are trying to accomplish with an indicator :-)). Conclusion: We BEGINNERS should be very careful how we drop indicators into windows using MS(the MECHANICS).

Now the first question is, which way do I need to be using the 40 MA with the OBV. (I assume that we want the 40 MA of the OBV not the 40 MA of PRICE OR VOLUME).

The second question is, what is the MA that is just dropped in the window without turning the OBV magenta reading (I assume price)?

TClaude

Yes I also have seen this when I zoom re: the crossing seems to change. Just learned to live with it..Sometimes I pull up the data window to see the actual values..
