I wasn't thinking so much about the salesmen as I was about the way it was being ordered. When customers order through their website, they can select configured systems based on their needs and the system will tell them whether it is compatible or not right away. No need for a lot of systems analysis, etc etc. That lowers the lead time on orders and minimizes the amount of time Cisco has to allocate towards such purchases. Now the 3.2 billion dollars is awfully high for their website and it may be that email of orders could be factored into that figure. Either way, they are still number 1 in internet purchases. John Chambers alluded to their future in this aspect at the tech showing in Las Vegas last year.
