Doug,

Thanks for the clarification. I'm still a student. Guess GATs can't GIT around in a bear market! From your earlier DOW post, sounds like the bears are going to wake up from a long hybernation and chase some bulls out of the lush green pasture! That'll give little ABTX a rest, too, no doubt....:)

(Max and I'll have to figuratively hang on to our shorts)!

Joanie

Doug I am amateur working hard at reaching non-amateur status in a few years. Now this DHI(D.R.Horton-builders) initially attracted me
because of its chart and nothing but its chart, but now on trying to
resolve why this stock hit 21 and then fell back sharply only to
now recommence on a very bullish up-turn all in a space of 6-weeks,and
with a sharp increase in volume--I have found a big story. This company
stock fell when it announced it was merging with Continental Homes which is a bigger company and quite successful but that the merger
will leave only one company--DHI.
I think the fall back was uncertainty as to what this merger would
mean--but then came an upgrade and a buy initiate and an excellent
earnings report from DHI.
The other thing I found is DHI shares held are 48+% institutional
and 41+% insider leaving ONLY 10% for individual holdings---this chart with
attitude has revealed a STORY.
My inexperienced question is,would not this institional and insider
90% holding be a strong signal to buy into this?--max90
P.S.This stock has no talk forum--it is a so-called Boring stock
as Peter Lynch would say.
