Doug,

None of my biz (you asked Ocote), but following are five runaway-cat short candidates, all speculative, granted, but ones I'm monitoring heavily from here in the catbird seat: CKSG, SLAM, and APOG have a 20% or greater drop to their next signal (which would be my target as a shorter); DANKY and TSEMF are 30% or greater down to their next signals. Nice rewards, IMO, with little risk if the market as a whole is showing significant weakness.
OXHP, though less than 15% from its next signal (if shorted at 15 3/4), is also one to keep an eye on. Its present uptrend looks to have reached its puny end four days in, which is probably fairly typical, timewise, of stocks that temporarily retrace the first move down from the top of the post-signal run-up.

Ivan

Doug--

Re: shorts

I am short CCI and will add to the position as it rallies weakly. Recently downgraded for Asian exposure and took a beating, but 2 days later rallying on hopes of stabilization in Asia. Technically, I really like using the same RSI that Doug used with the Dow. Some of the same features in CCI. Also basics like below 200 dma, VIMBO, etc.

Other similar issues with various stages of the same picture: CMB, BAC, FCN(did I read they have loans to failed Perrigrine in HK?). For a fascinating RSI, look at the RSI 13 on CMB weekly: the downtrending resistance from 92 to '95 became the downtrending support until the present. A parallell higher line of resistance is now present. Beautiful. Also note banks are in the RED zone as overbought for the link you posted.

Also watching LCOS to short it a third time as it peaks a third time. Money flow looks worse each time. Will wait to make sure volume peters out near downtrending resistance.

Watching auto makers--Ford. Exposure to cheaper imports, exchange rate risk. Technically didn't look as weak on quick review of MA's, trendlines.

These are a few ideas. Not enough time to check everything. Appreciate any other ideas, criticism from others.

Ocote
