should one airliner get down-ed per month for a long-enough period due to anything including terrorism may be the end of the airline industry

suspect the time period depends on whether the incidents have to do w/ random, seemingly random reasons to random airlines, or particular to some and not other airlines, planes, reasons

should the incidents of guns successfully carried on board become common place, would imagine the airline industry would pause, and folks starts getting political, and should a single plane go down because of gun on board, watch the politicians go at it

watch & brief, and at some juncture a yawn may turn into riveted attention
