also, am reckoning that should the gooey stuff hit the spinning fan, likely that industrial metals would experience some issues at first w/ the miners digging irrespective of demand, just to try and be the last mine open for whichever flavour of metal(s)

but, in addition, do not want paper cobalt and paper lithium, and cannot deem the physical stuff to be liquid even as they are bothersome to near-impossible to store, and certainly not fungible, portable

so, no, for financial purposes, time travel, interregnum navigation etc etc, gold is it, silver should do better, and platinum / palladium may tag
