As Garry Kasparov said, he has the right to remain silent. But he can't. I think Pelosi would probably cut a deal with him to swap a resignation for pardons that would keep him out of prison, but he's too stupid to keep his mouth shut. He'll talk himself into a prison cell. The only other way outs will be suicide (too chicken) or fleeing to Russia. It would be a feather in Putin's cap to have a captive US President so that could happen.
