good news on the kids front,

jack is outdoing me when I was his age; I was a delinquent, he is not

just got the coconut's report card for 1st semester 9th grade, which be difficult due to transition from middle school and the kids must find footing

the young lady appears to have gotten balanced

- just did performance for outside act at the academy of performing arts, the 1 of 20 young gifted

- more importantly we saw the older girls (who have been at it for 3 years) perform, and they are le femme natural born killers. Am thinking le femme Erita has a nice ring to it.

- academically at high school she scored straight A in all classes, including honours biology and geometry. At same age I was a near-perfect F, except German language thanks to Ursula. I only got to straight A starting in the 11th grade.

- she loves her well-done present, the iPad Pro w/ the electronic pencil ... doodle, sketch, do youtube and homework and note cards, all in one very good package

In any case, the counsellor advises,

Erita is a fighter, and is aiming high but will accept whatever result.

She is working and learning to juggle her time to gain both Excellence and Recognition.

This means life for Erita is:

(1) If exam is next Tuesday, but ballet is next Monday, she will have to study for exam on Sunday, and not Monday.

(2) She has to use every minute of her spare time for academic or ballet. Ballet involving not just lessons, but seeing Ostheopath regularly to check on her bone structure, Performance Based coaching (coaching mentally to excel in dance or sports, NOT psychology counseling,) special diet, performance preparation, etc.

(3) When she studies, she needs to be focused and not be disturbed

(4) As she is essentially an athlete, she needs as much sleep as possible.

(5) When it’s holiday for her, it’s holiday (although her holiday will be shorter than a normal person.)
