Same thing in any authoritarian totalitarian environment.

If I recollect correctly when in NYC, Arthur Andersen retired their partners at age 55, not that accounting excels in creativity but I presume the "hunger" to recruit new clients was the reason.

As to creativity at the time I designed a bankruptcy remote structure for a railroad car manufacturer a lessor and client of Arthur Andersen, which partners at Arthur Andersen did not believe that I do not have any formal CPA training. This work gave me the ticket to be recommended to other of their troubled companies.
